The Nichiran Net Foundation is a Japanese community organization that serves the entire Netherlands. It was established in February 2003 as Nichiran Silvernet by a group of like-minded individuals who shared the goal of creating a care facility dedicated to elderly Japanese residents living in the Netherlands.

In January 2021, the organization was renamed the Nichiran Net Foundation in order to appeal to a broader range of age groups and to further expand and enhance its activities.

Going forward, in addition to providing help and care for the elderly, the foundation aims to contribute to the continued growth and development of the Japanese community in the Netherlands through events and other initiatives.
